Trichomoniasis is caused by a single cell parasite. This parasite is passed from one person to another via sexual contact and/or intercourse. It is theoretically possible to become infected by sharing intimate items such as towels, but this is extremely rare. A trichomoniasis infection can be passed during delivery from a mother to her child.

trichomoniasis is a sextual disease caused by protozoan. it normally found in vagiana. in some of the cases men also got infected.
