People's ways of learning differ because everyone's neurology is somewhat different. What that means is you should choose the option that seems to work best for you. Review the options you have and see which one is the most comfortable for you.

First, familiarize yourself with the electronic components and what each symbol means. Then start at the power supply and move through the circuit, identifying each component. A good reference manual and some background in basic electronics will go a long way. The overall best way to read schematics is to take a course in electronics.

If you know of several options for reading electronic schematics, you should use the one that works best for you. When there are multiple approaches to any task, the individual must decide for himself which is best.
