You will need immediate medication attention for a DVT. This condition can lead to a pulmonary embolism (PE) which is life threatening. Your doctor will put you in the hospital and you will be given blood thinners until the risk of PE has deminished.

The best treatment for deep venous thrombosis would be rest and medications. Moving it can cause pulmonary embolus which can be fatal. The approved medical treatment is taking anticoagulants which would thin the blood and in doing so removes the blood clot from a deep venous thrombosis

DVT is a blood clot that forms usually in the leg, and if it does not dissolve naturally as it should large chunks can break off and travel through the heart and lungs. Treatment is an anticoagulant blood thinner such as cayenne pepper, ginko and ginseng.
