Normally looking up your state and looking for blood donation centers. Whenever you find the site where you can give blood, they will normally screen you to make sure you're a good match. Sometimes hospitals can also give you some good information on how to donate blood as well if you can't find anything online.

Call the local chapter of the American Red Cross and ask to speak to someone in the blood donation program. Someone there can give you all the details of the process and how you can help.

Go and talk directly to the organization where you would donate, they really should tell you, without any obligations from you. The process is simple, nothing to be afraid of.
