I think the best show on Nick Jr is Blues Clues. It is one of the few still wholesome shows out there, and is a great learning experience for children!

Dora the Explorer is an excellent show that teaches Both Spanish and English to it's viewers. The main character sings and dances her way through the show following instructions to get to a certain place with her friends "Boots" and with help from her "map". This show teaches young children how to follow directions and to have fun doing it!

Nick, Jr. has lots of good shows for children on their channel. My personal favorite Nick, Jr. show was The Busy World of Richard Scarry. This was an animated show that focused on characters like Lowly Worm, who always helped his neighbors.

Max and Ruby is my favorite show on Nick Jr. It is very cute, in both story and characters. The cartoon is about brother and sister rabbits, and the adventures they get into. The stories have a moral point, but it is not heavy handed. If I had children, I would let them watch it.

We watch Nick Jr. all day. I would have to say my daughter's favorite is Kailan. If you're going to pick one show for a preschooler, I would say Kailan.

Dora the Explorer is on of the best shows featured on Nick, Jr. The reason is that Dora is a very wholesome example for young boys and girls. She always does good deeds and the fact that the show also uses bilingual phrases doesn't hinder a learning experience for child viewers.

Little Bear is an amazing show. I'm not too sure it is still on air, but when I was younger, that was my opinion for what the best show was.

Without question, Yo Gabba Gabba! is easily the most entertaining and enjoyable show currently airing on Nickelodeon Jr. I definitely recommend it.

I guess it depends on your child, but my son likes to watch Dora the Explorer, and he also likes Diego. They teach Spanish and some science and nature facts.
