The best perfomance mini amp is the Roland CM30. It is small and very portable and it is powerful for its size. It sells for under $200. It has 3 input channels, with one XLR input for mic/line and 2 additional Aux inputs and equalizer-channel control for individual input volumes.

The Fender mini bassman. It runs for about $50 but is a solid invest and plays pretty loud. Not loud enough to jam with a drummer but good for a small room and you want to get the tone of your guitar.

For me, the best perfomance mini amp is the ROLAND MICRO CUBE, i really like it, it offers good things for a good price.

It depends which instrument you play. If you need a bass amp then the company could be different if you were looking for a guitar amp. One company that has good amps for all instruments is Squire.
