I personally use gel inserts from Dr. Scholl's. I find that they are comfortable, and they keep my feet from sliding around in the shoes. They're not too expensive. Give them a try.

The best padding for any type of shoe is gel foot inserts. The gel conforms to your feet and it relieves pressure. The gel also acts as a shock absorber to stop pain and discomfort before it starts. Gel insoles make wearing even the most uncomfortable shoes easy to wear.

There is a lot of competition in regards to shoe paddings. In my experience Dr. Sholtz shoe paddings are the best. They come in different sizes according to the different feet that there is. There are the overpronated (flat feet) underpronated (high arch) and the "normal" which they are righ in the middle.

Everyone's feet are different. Two ounce miracles, available from Walmart, are the only shoe liners that work for me, and they work great, but they might not work at all for you. A few years ago I bought one pair each of several different types and tried each of them to learn which was best for me.

Better than the ones you can buy at your local drugstore are the ones made by your chiropractor. They cost around $100, but they are fitted to your feet.
