What is the best advice you can give me for caring for baby rabbits?

I would like some advice on caring for some rabbits that I found abandoned in my yard.

The best advice I can give is don't even attempt. Wait several hours and see if a parent shows up. If one doesn't call your local humane society and ask about wildlife rehabilitators. Not only is it illegal in many places, but if you don't know how to care for the bunnies, they will almost certainly die in your care.

It is likely that the bunnies were not abonded permanantly by their mother, but that she is out feeding elsewhere. Mom's usually return to care for them or even move them to another location if they've been disturbed. Otherwise, use an eye-dropper or small syringe with goat's milk for feedings.

You must under all circumstances separate the young from their mother. Make a place that the mother can get out of but the babies can not. For example a divided hutch with the opening high enough to prevent the babies from getting into the main area.
