I've seen payscale from $25-30 an hour with flight time of 75-90 hours per month. Some senior pilots might make over $150k a year

A career as a commuter airline pilot offers flexibility in location plus the advantage of quick travel in an often short amount of time but you should check out locations and potential employers for specific pay information.

The average salary is very low - 20k. You also must take into account lodging in the cities you will be flying into. The biggest positive is the potential to become a pilot for a large airline with appropriate experience.
