Sulfer salt is just like regular table salt, but with a little added sulfer - approximately 3%.
It is not harmful to many animals, as it is used primarily as cattle feed. However, it probably isn't great for you in large quantities, but this has more to do with the injestion of salt, rather than sulfer.
