Niccolo Paganini was an Italian composer of classical music. As well as a composer, Paganini was also himself an accomplished violinist, and violist.

Paganini was a great violinist. He had Marfan syndrome which means his fingers were extra long, probably contributing to his virtuosity. He was such a fine musician that he had to write his own concerti and other pieces. He was also a compulsive gambler and was pretty wild. He eventually suffered from tuberculosis and depression.
