As far as I know, the only thing that PSP stands for in everyday life is actually 'Play Station Portable'. It's a hand held gaming device that is very popular among younger generations. It is kind of a mimic of the 'Game Boy', which was one of the first hand held gamers by Nintendo.

PSP refers to "PlayStation Portable." It is manufactured by Sony and is the rival to the Nintendo brand of hand-held entertainment centers. The PSP is the first handheld video gaming device to use the optical disc format. There are thousands of games available for the PSP which is very popular with people of all ages.
