Petroleum is a mixture of different compounds and is rarely used as a whole. After it's distillation in a refinery it gives a wide range of products, mainly fuels( gasoline, diesel, kerosene, etc. ). It's other derivatives can be used to produce products such as wax, lubricants, paraffin, asphalt, etc.

Petroleum is first refined in the oil refineries and then seperated into Petrol, Kerosene Oil, Diesel, Wax, Aeroplane Fuel, Vaseline, Paraffin at the different temperatures which are used by various vehicles, bikes and industries all over the globe.
