An "exclusive" contract for modeling means that you can't model for anyone else. "Non-exclusive" means that while working under the agreement to model for XYZ, you can accept jobs modeling for others.

An exclusive modeling contract means that the individual (the model) works for one photographer, one clothing line, one agency -- whatever is stated in the contract. Non-exclusive means that the model is free to pursue other work while at the same time working per the terms of the non-exclusive agreement.

This is a contract between a model and an agency. Essentially if the agency finds you a job you pay the agency a commission, but you can find your own jobs for free. Additionally you can work with other agencies at the same time using a similar contract.
