Trapping chipmunks is a much better approach for removal than poisoning them. Its best to contact animal control and have these critters professionally removed.

When removing a chipmunk you will need to get very creative. You must first find out where the animal is located and capture him. Usually a cage with bait is best. Once the animal is in the cage close the door and remove him from the premises.

A good and humane way to get rid of them is catch them in a live trap and then release them into a forrest. If you would prefer a less hand on method place chesnuts around your property because they don't like them.

Well, your best bet is to call animal control and they will have to remove the chipmunks for you. You will have to spray the grounds with ammonium.

Check with an associate at your local gardening store to see if there is something chipmunks dislike scent wise to keep them away.

Chipmunk removal often involves trapping and then transporting/disposing of the offending chipmunks. The humane option is to use Have-a-Heart traps, fill them with bait (peanut butter is popular) and then trap the chipmunks. Should you wish to remove them from your location, select a location at least 5 miles away to release them.
