Tobramycin eye drops are an antibotic type eye drop. If you are allegric to erithromycin, you should not use tobraycin eye drops because they are in the same medicene classification.If you were prescibed this and are allegric to erythromycin, you should consult with your health care provider to change to a different antibotic.

Tobramycin is not in the erythromycin family, so it is safe to use if you have an allergy to erythromycin. Tobramycin eye drops also contain dexamethasone and benzalkonium chloride.

It's an antibiotic in the same class as erythromycin. If you have a history of severe allergic reactions to antibiotics in this class-- DEFINITELY consult a pharmacist/physician BEFORE using.
