Gold leaf is mostly used for decoration, and sometimes to eat. Gold can be pounded into extremely
thin sheets, so it's used in wrapping other things. It's even been used architecturally,
e.g., on building domes. Gold is an approved food coloring,
but it's usually eaten for ritual or health reasons.
