Epsom salt is good for aches and pains when added to hot bathwater. One should add about 1/3 to 1/2 cups to the bathwater for maximum results.

I don't know if epsom salt is good for eating wise, but I do know that it's good for sore muscles if you put some in your bath water, and it's also really good for drawing out infections, especially toe infections.

Epsom salt is used for medicinal purposes and not for cooking. Added to a bath it can soothe sore muscles, help with swelling, draw out splinters, deodorize feet, and soften rough skin. It is also thought that epsom salts in your bath can also help draw toxins out of your body.

Most people use it as a foot soak. Some people consume it in TINY quantities for constipation, etc, but only if done SAFELY and with medical advice/supervision.

To my knowledge you cannot use for cooking. It is only used to relax sore muscles and stiffness. You can on occasion use it as a laxative.

Epsom salt can be used to reduce skin wrinkling (temporarily) by being added to bath water. It can also be consumed as a laxative, which is a treatment for constipation.

Epsom salt is actually used more for medicinal purposes than for cooking. You can add it to a bath to help relieve tension and general aches and pains. You can even mix it with dried herbs (like lavender) to create a relaxing and soothing bath time. It's actually the main ingredient in most bath salts.
