Jct: Complementary Currency is when a community decides to print and use its own chips to enable transaction, interest-free, just like a casino bank. Every casino runs a complementary currency system. Internet has made trading time-based chips best.

Complementary currency is a form of money which is supposed to be used in conjunction with the national currency. An example of this is the Toronto Dollar where that dollar is fully backed by the Canadian dollar. Merchants may accept the Toronto Dollar for goods and may easily exchange it for the national dollar.
