Each of these words can be used as a verb AND noun: pet, break, corner, plan, stop, rage, spell, stamp, crown, block, shovel, hold. There are many, many more.

"Gay" is a multiple meaning word. It historically has only meant "happy," or "cheerful," but in contemporary speech it is often a word that refers to a homosexual person. Also, "pet" can refer to an animal you take care of or it can refer to rubbing said animal's fur or caressing someone.
