There are numerous alternatives to "the pill". You can use a sponge, spermicidal foam, spermicidal films, IUDs, NuvaRing, DepoProvera, Norplant or condoms. My suggestion, is the condom. It is the only one that prevents STDs!

You can use birth control patches, vaginal rings(such as Nuva Ring) or something like Mirena. Talk to your doctor to find out what is best for you.

An alternative medicine to birth control pills would probably be the "Shot". The birth control shot is given every 3-4 months I believe. Just as effective as the pill..

There isn't really an alternative to birth control pills other than condoms or abstinence. You can look for lower dosages if you want to though.

The most effective alternative to birth control pills is either abstinence or using a condom. Condoms will also help to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
