The annual salary of any nursing position is good, and specializing in pediatric nursing can increase that amount. While the amount that you make varies based on your location and experience, the average U.S.salary is $60,000 per year.

Nursing is a wonderful career, and makes good money. But the pay rate depends on the are in which you work/live. The cost of living affects the income. In a small town you might only make $40 an hour, where as in a big city that could be doubled.
