In a testing system, like standardized testing, the Percentile Rank illustrates where you stand compared to all other people taking the same test at the same time. For example, if you receive a 78% mark in math, that means your score was BETTER than 78 percent of all test takers.

It's a person's performance in comparison to other people within the same group. A percentile rank means that said person did (number) percent better than everyone else.

Percentile rank is identified as a students grade level percent.The rank is also referred to as the status score.The percentile of graduating students is still not up to standards.
