Non-impact printers are those such as laser and inkjet printers, where the heads do not touch the paper, as opposed to the older dot matrix printers which use printing ribbons. The term does not directly relate to the environment.

Non impact printers are type of printers which does not strike its head with an ink ribbon. this type of printers are laser jet printers and ink jet printers. these type of printers are low noise so it lessen the noise pollution in the office. we practically use this type of printers in the office
