a hand throttle is excatly what it sounds like . it is a throttle or accelerater , used to give more gas or go fast to a vehicle ,that is operated by hand.these are found on motorcycles vehicles for disabled people and in some driver ed cars so the instuctor has some control.

a hand throttle is usually on motercycles mopeds, and gopeds it is the alternate option to a peddle throttle and the name is exactly what it is, a throttle controling the gas but by the use of your hand
