The message of the Bible is above all things a message of forgiveness. If it is possible to forgive a cheating wife and continue to live with her, it says to do so. Use Hosea for guidance. However, if the wife continues in her adulterous way, the bible does say that it is grounds for divorce.

The book of John in the New Testament talks about a woman being cause in the act of adultery. Jesus didn't judge her but told her to sin no more.
