It stands for Suzuki Ram Air Direct. This technology places the air intakes in the front of their high performance motorcycles such as the GSXR models. The SRAD allows for forced air to the air box. All models post 1996, with a few exceptions, have the SRAD configuration. These bikes are distinguishable with decals.

From what I've read it stands for Suzuki Ram Air Direct. This refers to the air intakes on the front of the bike that force air directly into the airbox. This is supposed to create a higher pressure on the intake aiding in power production at speed.
