"Metastasized" means that the initial tumor, or mass, has little pieces of itself growing in distant parts of the body. Tumor cells migrate from the original mass and grow elsewhere.

Metastasis means your cancer has spread beyond its original point to another point in the body. I'm sorry, but this usually does not carry a good prognosis on survival.

Metastasized is not a good work to hear when you have cancer. It means that it usually has spread to other parts of your body. When it does that, you can just take chemo and lean on God's hands and put all your faith in Him and He will lead you through.That is exacty what my sweet husband done.

Metastasis is the movement of cancer cells, from one tumor, to a different location where a second tumor is established. Basically, the cancer cells are spreading.
