What does it mean when guys have long fingernails?

It means mostly that they are lazy and don't cut them. There isn't a reason for this, its not some kind of symbol or indicator of status. Apparently some sailors in the 19th century had a long pinky finger nail for luck, but I suspect the tradition hasn't made it over.

Guys have different preferences with fingernail length, but really long fingernails could be a sign of bad personal hygiene habits. Long fingernails may be beneficial for certain guys though.
