The fuel filter in your vehicle looks like a small can with a tube coming out of each side; think of a soup can with metal tubes sticking out of each end. They are simple products which much be installed directionally to properly work with your fuel system; over time they accumulate particles so they must be replaced periodically.

Well typically a fuel filter is just a small round black cylinder. It should mount longways and have tube coming out of either side for the fuel hoses to connect to.

Your car should have an inline filter. I think it's located down under the car near the tank on the passenger side. It should be a black plastic cylinder.
