Someone has filed a complaint asking that you compensate them for something (damage or debt). You would have been notified of this. The judge ruled on behalf of the complainant and you are required abide the judge's order (to pay or do whatever is ordered). A judgment allows your wages and assets to be attached in order to recover.

It means a court of law has found you liable for damages and the person who won this against you is entitled to get paid.

A court judgment means that a court has or will render a verdict against you and in favor of the opposing party. The verdict could have been rendered by a court or by a jury. A judgment can create the ability of the prevailing party to attempt to collect the judgment by lien or garnishment of wages or personal property.

If it was a civil law suit and the court judgement has gone against you, then you are liable to pay the asked amount plus costs to the suing party.
