What do you think about the ending of "American Psycho?"

Did Bateman really kill all those people or was it a series of his hallucinations?

it seems to be a manifestation of his hallucinations, as from the first frame of the film we're subjected to his views on everything as opposed to what he projects externally. There are plenty of scenes where he has malicious thoughts but he doesn't act on them - these are simply just manifestations of his own insecurities.

I prefer to think it was all a hallucination in his mind. As per the title 'American Psycho' it's a dark portrait of what we're all capable of for many different reasons in our lives!

In the book, the killings actually took place, and the character simply moved to a different location. It seemed like the movie wanted viewers to think he didn't, however.

Well I'm not sure but history has it that yeah he did end up killing all of those people so you better just watch the movie.
