If you don't have a lift or a 10 inch jack, this is a really tough job to do on your own. Once you can get under the car, the injectors can easily be replaced with just a wrench.

Replacing the fuel injectors is a potentially hazardous task and should only be completed by an auto professional. assuming you have the neccecary skills, you will need to order replacement injectors of the exact type. Ask a dealer or consult an aftermarket manual such as Haynes for your specific car.

To change any fuel injectors you will need a standard or metric socket set, flathead screwdriver, injector cleaner spray, new injectors and o-rings.

Typically you don't really need anything other than some parts and some tool. A set of instruction is always handy though. Once you have release the fuel pressure from the line and removed the fuel rail the injectors should come out. Every car is a little different so do some research on the process.

First, you must un-do the fuel pump, depending on your car type. Then, one the fuel system is de-pressurized, then you disconnect the fuel lines and the fuel pressure regulator. Then remove the clips that hold the injectors into place, and remove the wire harness. Remove the fuel rail, and cover the holes so no debris gets in.

You may need a manual for the car to fix it. Just tell them the make and model of the car at the auto parts store. Or go to a professional to have it fixed
