What do you do for ring worms on horses?

My horses have ring worms.

This is how to cure ring worms on horse's in 7 steps. 1. Call your vet. asap. 2. Clip hair away from affected area. 3. Spot-bathe the lesions. 4. Apply an antifungal dressing. 5. Keep lesions clean, dry, and exposed to air and sun. 6. Disinfect your premises and yourself. 7. Evaluate your horse's progress.

Horses must be treated for ringworm by using medicated shampoos and topical antifungal medications. Everything that comes in contact with the infected horse has to be thoroughly washed.

Obviously, you can have a veternarian come to check your horses out. However, I do believe there are over the counter remedies that you can buy directly for yourself. I have seen medication like this are our local Tractor Supply store. It does not require any type of prescription to buy it.

There is a save that can be applied to the affected area. and also a past that can be gaven to the in his food or by mouth. Also keep it clean.
