A solution of two parts apple cider vinegar to one part water applied to the insides of a kitten's ear will help get rid of ear mites. It is also prudent to apply this mixture to the kitten's tail as it is not uncommon for ear mites to invade this area of the cat's body as well.

Ear mites is a common problem. After your kitten has been initially treated by your veterinarian I would recommend monthly use of Advantage Multi or Frontline Plus to prevent re-infestation.

To treat and prevent ear mites you should take the kitten to a licensed veterinarian. The best treatment for ear mites in kittens is a medicine called Revolution. Revolution is applied once a month and protects against ear mites, fleas, and ticks. It can be a little costly, but it does work.

Take a cotton swab and clean the cats ears very carefully. Or you can take them to the vet and have them cleaned and they will give you medication.

You have to take the kitten to the vet and there is a specific medicine that you put in theirs eyes at least 1 time per day. Be careful because if they go untreated they have can bleeding in their ears and the only way to stop that is surgery.

A natural remedy for ear mites is to take a few tablespoons of apple cidar vinegar and mix it with a cup or so of water in a squirt bottle. Spray it in your cat's ears a couple of times a day until they dissapear and then use this spray once a week or so to prevent them from returning.
