Google is the most used and largest search engine on the internet. You enter a word or phrase into the browser and it will come back with relevant responses. To 'google' someone would be to enter that person's name and to see what kind of articles/responses the browser comes up with.

People mean that they literally go to google search engine and type in the name of a specific person, their friend, boss, kid's teacher, neighbor, like you would for a celebrity or company, and see what there is on the web about that particular individual, to check whether that person is associated with "bad" things.

Google is an internet search engine. To " google someone" means to look up their name on the internet and see what you can find out about them. This will often show up if they are in a network website such as "facebook" or others. It can also show up if they are ever mentioned in a newspaper article.

To "google" someone, you type their name into the search engine Google to see what comes up. Beware - there may be thousands of people with the same name!

It means to look up a person on the internet. Google is a very popular search engine, but you can use any engine you choose. By typing a peson's name into the search field, it will return a list of items found on the world wide web where this name is mentioned.
