Flexitech is a vinyl flooring that is made in more layers then the conventional vinyls. It has a great reputation for holding up under extreme conditions and is very easy to work with. Much easier to handle then a regular felt backed vinyl and is a good material for the do it yourselfer.

With any sort of vinyl floor it's critically important that the subfloor be clean, smooth, dry and level. Flexitec, in particular, has special installation requirements which, if not followed correctly, will void your warranty. Detailed instructions are available on the internet or from any reputable Flexitec floor covering dealer.

A major thing for anyone to know before tackling a floor install themselves is to know what the subfloor surface preparation should be, without the proper prep job could fail.

The biggest complaint I have found so far is with buckling. Be sure to use enough glue! Other than that, a sharp cutting edge would be beneficial as well.

Keep the sub floor level, very clean, and most important dry. You do not want to trap any moisture between the two surfaces.

Installing IVC Flexitec floors is easy and can be done using the guidelines given in the guide. Major part of home decor starts from the kitchen flooring. Before starting work,it should be thoroughly cleaned and levelled. Any wet substances should be removed. The latest structural integration of vinyl flooring prevents from quick dulling and fading.
