Give the kitten a doze of hair ball removal medicine. If will work as a laxative and should do the trick.

Call your vet. This isn't something you want to deal with on your own because the kitten could have swallowed something and it could have a bowel obstruction.

Take the kitty to the vet to determine the cause of the problem. You can treat constipation in a cat with a quarter teaspoon of fiber power. But this required a vet's supervision in a kitten.

You can begin by rubbing the kitten's belly; if it's just a little thing, a bit of a stroke (stroke down) will help kick the digestive system into activity.

If your kitten seems constipated, bring your pet to your veterinarian's office! At home, make sure to provide plenty of fresh water to try to encourage drinking. You can also try feeding the kitten a quarter teaspoon of canned pumpkin or a little tiny sliver of butter to see if that might not help in the short term.

Usally two or three drops of mineral oil will get things moveing again. You should remember that the number one cause of constipation is dehydration so make sure he has lots of clean water too.
