To start off with, blind people cannot see anything. In detail, all they see is darkness because their eyes cannot function as well as the other people around the world. They need to use their brain, which still can map out everything for, to walk and to get around places.

It depends on the type and severity of their blindness. People who are born with out eyes, or some other vital organ in the site process don't see anything. Where as some one who has damaged corneas, while being technically blind, can perceive shadows and changes in light. Some can even see colors, but not forms.
