What could cause the water pressure in my shower to come and go?

Their probably are several reasons why you could be losing water pressure. The main reason would be when someone turns on another water outlet.

Water pressure can vary if your water heater is not generating hot water fast enough. It also could be that so many other people in your immediate area are using lots of water, which will lower the water pressure to all houses and businesses using the water. That's why water rationing will occur in some areas of the country.

If you have bought a new shower head then you might have to take off and remove the plastic resticter.

Debris or damage in the shower valve seat or manifold. Damaged seals or springs in automtatic temperature and pressure mixing valves. Clogged shower head.
