What could cause sudden weight loss in ferrets?

My ferrets are losing weight.

They could be losing weight for multiple reasons. They could be bored of their food, and are picky eaters. It could however be more serious. Take them to your local vet, they will be able to tell you if it is a medical condition or not.

The most often reason why things like that happen is because of parasites or diabetes (Yes ferrets can get it also)

It could be worms, they need to be wormed regularly, you can get medication from your vet. Also, check their teeth it can be that the teeth are overgrown.

This could be caused by any number of illnesses, but it might also be that they are bored. Ferrets are very intelligent, keep them active to keep them happy and healthy. Also, try giving them treats to keep them from being bored with their regular food. This should help them gain weight.

Could be some kind of a mammal diarrhea. Take a look at the excrements? Is there anything different? Or did you change the food?
