Siamese cats get darker as age. Seal/chocolate point males in particular get darker. By the time they're 12 yrs or older, they are nearly black except on the trunk.

Exposure to light over time can cause a cat's fur to darken, as well as natural aging. This is completely normal, and no cause for concern. The cat will be fine.

A siamese cat often darkens with age and their body types change also. Another Siamese trait is that the eyes often appear to get lighter and their ears become more shapely. In essence, the main culprit is age.

There are two main reasons a Siamese cat's coat color will darken. The main reason is simply age. Siamese cats are born white and their coat will darken naturally as they mature. Another reason is temperature as cats living in warmer climates tend to have lighter coat colors than Siamese living in colder climates.

Siamese cats tend to darken with age. At birth, many Siamese cats are almost pure white and don't begin to develop their trademark pattern until they get their second coat in.

Siamese kittens do not start developing color until they are outside the mother cat's womb. Due to the temperature inside the womb, they are are actually born white in color. As the cat ages, it's color starts to appear and become more noticeable. Their color continues to darken until they are about 2 yrs of age.
