What could be wrong with my Toahiba color TV model no 32MW7DB that will not come on, instead of coming on I get a red light?

This most likely is a problem with the lamp inside your Toshiba television. If it is still under warranty refer to the paperwork you recieved when you bought the set. You could also call the store to find an authorized service agent.

It sounds like the motherboard of your TV is damaged. To reapir this it woudl be much more costly than purchasing a new set, so just buy a new TV

It sounds like you have one of the tv models that shows the picture by the use of a lamp located in the back of the set. If you are getting a red light (usually on the power button). It may be time to replace the lamp. Good luck!
