Make sure the roots of the weeping willow will have access to water. Since weeping willows are water lovers, you should try and build a small pond near the plant. This tree actually likes to stand in water (they are commonly found along the banks of rivers and streams. )

Weeping Willow trees like wet areas and are easy to grow. I placed one in a very wet area & made sure it was deep enough to maintain its weight/size.

Weeping willows are nature's sponge. When you plant one, make sure you use loose soil and pack it down to help the tree's roots set up and grow. If you have a new sapling, use stakes and two wide tie materials to keep it upright.

In order to secure your weeping willow foundation, you should always have your tree limbs trimmed after the leaves fall. This will help to balance the foundation. Hope this helps
