Frogs are typically carnivorous and eat insects, smaller fish, other frogs, or in the case of some frogs like Pacman frogs, anything that moves that they can get in their mouths. Pet stores sell crickets and meal worms for frogs but you can easily catch your own insects as well.

Most small frogs eat crickets or meal worms. You can buy both for pretty cheap at your local pet store.

Frogs are unique in that they eat live food! Frogs need to be fed living insects so that they can pretend they are in their natural habitat. You can buy live insects from your local petstores.

Frogs like bugs, in many varieties. You will need to be comfortable handing bugs in order to feed your frog. Some large ones may eat very small mice.

Frogs eat flies and live crickets, you can also feed them mealworms and such. Ask the clerk at the pet store what you can feed him from the reptile department!

Frogs like to eat a number of different insects. They usually go for flies and other small winged bugs, but also like crickets and sometimes ants. If your frog is small, you may want to start off with little insects to feed and then gradually get bigger ones as your frog gets bigger.
