First make sure that this is just not an issue with you liking your work. If you like your job but still have problems focusing, contact a psychiatrist to talk about adult ADHD. It is a real problem and could be affecting you. If you get help while the problem is fresh, it will be easier to treat.

Be sure to get enough sleep so you are refreshed and ready to do your job. Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch. Drink water throughout the day. Take small, frequent breaks to let your body and mind relax from your job. Have brief conversations to get more information to do your job correctly.

Is there a reason why you can't focus? Like stress, lack of sleep, and ect. If so try to reduce your stress doing so will make it easier. If not perhaps it might be something medical like ADD. An otc option I use is caffine. :P Although it is an option you would have to discuss with your docter.

Try writing down what you have to do, check each activity when you are done with it. Think about witch goals you should achieve and during work time, focus on them.Give yourself a little reward if you manage to do all your work. Take a short vacation, enjoy it, and when you came back you'll feel much better.
