Give him a cool (but not cold) bath. If his fever doesn't clear up in a few hours, bring him to the vet for a checkup or call the vet and see what medication is safe to give him.

A fever is a sign of infection. Your dog should be seen immediately by a veterinarian to determine what the problem is and to create a treatment plan to restore him to health. Never, ever give a dog (or a pet) human medication without direction from your veterinarian.
