An animal that is throwing up and not eating should be seen by a vet because it could be a sign of pneumonia which can be fatal to any animal, especially a chihuahua because they are so small they can die of dehydration very quickly.

If your dog is throwing up, this means that its body is trying to get rid of something harmful. This could be caused by a large number of reasons. If this problem persists, the best advice is to call a veterinarian. A veterinarian can correctly diagnose what is wrong with your Chihuahua and treat it appropriately.

You should take her to a Vet for the proper care. Small dogs can dehydrate a lot easier than a large dog and the vomiting will only cause the dehydration to come quicker. Just make sure that your dog is comfortable so she feels better and keep her out of extreme heat or cold.

If this goes on for more than a day she needs to go to a vet. If diarrhea accompanies those symptoms she needs to see a vet immediately because it could be a serious disease.
