When my cat had acid reflux my vet suggested adding baby or canned food into her diet. He said to feed them to her separately and to never feed them to her at the same time. He also said to feed her half of a tums or other a/c tablet, broken and added to the moist food once a day.

If your cat is vomiting frequently, you might try changing the food. I would recommend a brand that is approved by veterinarians. Sometimes cats go outside and eat grass. Then they come back inside and throw up. Make sure you don't leave him outside unattended. And never give your cat milk, this can cause diarrhea as well as reflux.

You should try switching cat foods. Science diet cat food is probably the best thing out there, and might actually have a special blend meant to deal with acid reflux. If the problem persists, see your vet.
