When pregnant, the body is attempting to absorb all the nutrients it can, so the process of digestion generally takes longer. This causes food to remain in the digestive tract for a longer period of time which can result in the feeling of a sour stomach.

Sour stomach during pregnancy may be do to over production of stomach acid, eating spicey food, greasy foods or foods that are to "rich". Hormane changes also affect the digestive system.

Fluctuating hormonal levels during pregnancy can cause relaxation of the valve of esophagus, which normally keeps stomach acids from flowing into the esophagus. If the esophageal valve relaxes (typically when not eating), this relaxation can cause stomach acid to rise into the esophagus. This stomach acid in the esophagus causes a burning sensation, known as gastrointestinal reflux, or GERD.

Usualy during 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy sour stomach is very common due to acid reflux. Is is also called heartburn, mainly due to dyspepsia. Stomach is pushed little upwards due to enlarged uterus in 2nd and 3rd trimester, causing acid reflux.

Any condition that you can get when you are not pregnant, you can get when you are pregnant. It is just more risky because you have another life in there that is affected by your course of action.

Anything and everything. During pregnancy your entire body is out of whack especially with appetite. Nausea is normal. Try keeping a diary of what you eat, when it's eaten, and see if you notice a pattern with the type of food you eat and when you feel a sour stomach.

Everything! You can try to see if there is a connection between what you are eating and how you are feeling, but in the meantime get a good antacid :)
